THE 10 BEST GUITARISTS OF THE PAST 30 YEARS:

They recently conducted a survey to determine The 10 Best Guitarist of the Past 30 Years . . . and former RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS guitarist JOHN FRUSCIANTE came out on top. (--Around 30,000 people took part in the poll.)

--SLASH came in second. Here's the complete list:

I voted funny. Why? This list is an absolute joke! None of these guitarist deserve to be with exception of Tom Morello because of his creativity. Guitarist like Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Brent Hinds, Adam Jones etc.

Well put. I wonder how much of the survey is skewed by perspective. It's obviously a popular vote of the masses. We all have our favorite performers and artists. I can't help but think that the list is more of a popularity contest, rather than an acutal reflection of real talent. Food. Thanks for the post! Good discussion.
