April Fools: Yes or No?

Are you tired of April 1st? I'm a prankster at heart and I love a good joke. I've played some great pranks and I've had some GREAT ones played on me.

Playing a joke on April 1st is radio tradition. I've seen some stations take it too far... calling listeners and telling them they won a million dollars and then letting them down with a big "April Fools!". (That's just mean. You can't give someone that kind of life changing news and let them down. NOT COOL)

Our prank certainly wasn't damaging to anyone. A lot of you figured it out and called up and played along. Thanks for having a good sense of humor and having some fun with us.

Those of you that didn't figure it out right away, flooded our phone lines with calls of support and belive me... in today's world of turnstyle radio hosts, I REALLY appreciate it.

I like our show -- and even more importantly, I like you. I recieived a lot of emails of concern this morning and it reminds me that I'm blessed to have a family beyond my wife and kids. I grew up on the radio. I started as single guy... I married my wife, April... and now I'm raising my kids on the radio. (Often with good advice from you moms and dads) My family is HUGE and I love it. (Group hug. Seriously)

I've always considered KEZJ YOUR radio station. I just get to come in, hang out with you and play your songs.

With that in mind, I think YOU should get to make the choice about April 1st next year. Do you think we should stop April Fools stunts? Or do you think it would be wrong to break with years of tradition? Vote.

I think you should decide.

I still have a job!! Yeah!!!!!Thank you so very much for all your calls. I truly feel very blessed to have such loving people in my life.

April Fools to be or not be?? You choose...I think April Fools is fun as long as it is played in good form.

It is true that the show would be nothing without you. Thank you!

I didn't figure out this was an April Fools joke. I was really upset when Brad and Jackie weren't on the air this morning that I turned it off. I'm glad I looked at your morning show page to learn it was all a joke. The show is NOTHING (not to mention boring; too much politics) without you two. You guys are the best.

I spent hours trying to figure out what happened! I listened this morning for about 30 min between kids crying and gettin on the bus and didn't get anything. DANG THAT WAS NERVEWRECKING! But... I'm so glad it was April Fooled that I forgive!! You two are fun and I've been listening to Brad since 96 when I was in High School, I'd listen after school at my job. Thanks!

You two are to funny. That was great I really beleived something happened. I just couldn't figure out what because I listen to you guys every day and I did not here anything wrong that was said yesterday. I just couldn't beleive it was true. The show would not be the same with out you Brad you are the best. Keep up the good work and its nice to know you are still around.

I personally think you should leave the April fools jokes to the elementary aged kids. I vote for no stunts next year.

I didn't realize how much my wife and I really enjoy your show until you weren't on the air this morning! We couldn't imagine either one of you saying something so offensive that they would cancel your show.....I guess the joke is on us. Look forward to listening to you tomorrow.

You guys made my day after a long day at school. Glad to hear that you are staying on the air. I couldn't believe the news. I even gone as far as contacting the General Manager on what was going on. I have been listening to you guys for over a year and would like to continue to listen to you guys for years to come. Thank you for putting a smile on my face.
