JACKIE SAYS...

Thank you!!!

Our St. Jude Radioathon was a BIG success because of all the loving people in The Magic Valley. The kids at St. Jude, KEZJ, and cancer patients all over the world appreciate you. Without you and your generous donations St. Jude would not be the place it is today.

My heart is truly overjoyed! Words can not describe...lets just say I am so proud to live here and know that our community cares, to say the least.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU ,THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, TANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.....

Did I mention how grateful I am!

Thank you and GOD BLESS

St. Jude Radiothon

As we conduct our radiothon on Thursday and Friday, I'd like to ask that you encourage your friends, family and co-workers to tune in to 95.7 and listen. Or click on our PODCAST to the right of this post and you can hear just a little piece of what St. Jude is all about.

If you've already become a Partner In Hope, I have one more favor to ask. If you can find it in your heart to comment on this post, I'd greatly appreciate it. I ask you to do this in hopes that anyone who is not sure if they should give to St. Jude might be inspired by looking through your eyes.

God forbid cancer ever reaches your children. But if it does, it's good to know that a place like St. Jude exists. I've seen the hospital myself... and while much of the medical research is way above my head, I do KNOW this. The doctors and staff at St. Jude will not rest until there is a cure... and they all look forward to the day that they are out of a job.

You can become a St. Jude Partner in Hope by calling Thursday or Friday from 6:00am - 7:00 pm. (1-800-942-8771) or donate online. Click Here

God Bless,

Brad.

Jackie's late...Brad wants food!

I seem to run late in the mornings. Wierd!

Brad says the golden rule at the radio station is if you are late you must bring food. Is this a golden rule in every work place? Do I really owe him food? And most importantly I really need to get out of bed 20 minutes early. Can you help me? Please

Did you hear it too?

On the heels of our earthquake a couple weeks ago, it's good to know I'm not crazy. Last night about 11pm(ish) I heard a noise in my house. It almost sounded like someone or something heavy was running on my roof. The rumbling lasted for at LEAST 10 seconds and I almost dismissed it as thunder. I'm glad I decided to mention it this morning becuase the phones went CRAZY! We had calls from Jackpot, Jerome, Twin, Hagerman, Richfield... etc. It's good to know that YOU heard it too. If I'm crazy, at least I'm not alone. Be sure to vote on our latest poll. What do YOU think it was?

Thank you, Blair Garner and After Midnite.

BIG thanks to Blair Garner and After Midnite for hooking us up with Stephen. (We sometimes call him the "Taylor Swift Kid") If we can help Stephen get 100,000 hits on his video, Blair will send Stephen (and his mom or dad) to the ACM's in Las Vegas... AND Stephen will get to co-host After MidNite with Blair Garner! If you missed the show this morning, you can listen to the audio on our podcast.

Check this out!

Our overnight host Blair Garner is trying to help a kid get a McDonalds date with Taylor Swift. Here's the letter and the video he sent to AfterMidnite.

Hey Blair,I am Stephen Girgis, I am 17 years old, I am from Cocoa Beach, FL and as weird as this sounds, my New Year's Resolution is to go to McDonald's with Taylor Swift...I have a group on Facebook to see how many people want Taylor Swift to go with me. If 100,000 join my group or view my video, Taylor Swift Will Go With Me To McDonald's! If you have any way you could help, even if it's just advice I would love that...

First... a look at Taylor Swifts original version.

Here's Stephen's version.

Keep track of Stephen's progress and see more from Blair's website.

I washed my husbands cell phone...OOOOPPPS!

Yesterday, I thought I was doing such wonderful things at my house. I made breakfast, cookies, and I even did laundry. Little did I know I washed my husbands Cell Phone. I feel really bad about the whole thing.

I have gotten some great suggestions about how to fix this:
I could tell him to empty his own pockets.
I could put his phone in a bowl of rice to dry it out.
I should have let it completely dry before turning it on.
Next time I wash it I need to make sure it is off.

What do you think I should do?
